20 - SOUND LEVEL METER
The Sound Level Meter is a small, hand-held portable
battery operated test equipment set. User is able to
detect and read the level of ambient noise interruption.
The meter has a two-scale display providing visual indication
of analysis of voice band frequencies, monitor, diagnose,
and troubleshoot. Used for ambient noise measurement,
quality inspections, and public health.
Range 35-80dB, 75-120dB. 9V battery powered.
5010 - VOLUME UNIT (VU) METER
The Volume (VU) Meter is a portable audio power meter used in the
performance of circuit pre-service and trouble isolation tests.
The unit is a hand-held, rugged, solid state multi-range meter
for field use. The display is a LED twelve (12) place
indicator array. Measurement range level is -40 VU to +11 VU.
5015 - Z METER (AC Impedance)
The Z Meter is a small, hand-held, battery operated AC Impedance meter.
The primary use is intended to be in the telephone industry to measure
AC impedance of a nomial 600 ohm line from 340 Hz to 3400 Hz.
Range is 0-1999 ohms.
5017 - DTMF SOURCE - TEST MONITOR
The DTMF test set unit includes a DTMF source with keypad and an audio monitor.
The DTMF source has switchable output levels of -16.0 dB, -8.0 dB and 0.0 dB.
The audio monitor provides an adjustment audio output of either the
receive or transmit line or both. LEDs also monitor the recieve and transmit
lines providing a visual indication when signals are present.
Fuse protected - 1/2A front panel mounted. Mounts in 19" or 23" racks.

The unit is used to measure or test balanced line circuits. It changes a
balanced line into an unbalanced line.
